OLD SAN JUAN CONVENT

A building of mediaeval origin, which, despite having undergone numerous reforms, still preserves elements of historic-artistic relevance, among which we can highlight the arches and the ceiling. It has an L-shaped ground plan, and we can highlight the main building because of its large dimensions. Due to its construction features, it could have been the old hermitage of San Juan, as it is mentioned in documents from the middle of the 17th century “in the middle of the place". Therefore, the square where it is located, as well as the street that leads to it, bear the name of S. Juan.
