Born in Samper del Salz in 1945. A self-taught painter, he earned a degree in Geography and History by the University of Zaragoza with a dissertation on the artistic group, which he created and interpreted, called Azuza 40.

He also studied at the School of Arts in Zaragoza, receiving a diploma in visual arts and decoration. He founded the Kalos art gallery, with Federico Torralba and later the Atenas gallery in Zaragoza. He was the director of this latter gallery where he programmed several exhibitions of both young talents and acclaimed artists.

An academician of the Royal Academy of Noble and Fine Arts of San Luis, Zaragoza, his work went through different phases, going from abstract expressionism in lively tones at the beginning, to abstract portraits of classic mythology, very colourful abstract expressionism, with an eastern style stage, until he finally came to cubist art.

He died in Zaragoza on 21 October 1999 of cancer and his remains rest in the town where he was born.
