Bodegas Tempore

Passion, enthusiasm, consistency, a will to learn… are just some of the traits that the three generations of this family share; a family with great expertise in the art of vine growing and the owners of the Tempore winery.

Tempore was incorporated in 2002 and it did so by launching onto the market a range of red wines made with two autochthonous varieties from the Iberian peninsula: Garnacha and Tempranillo; and with the maxim that will govern their everyday activity throughout the years: respect for the earth and passion for wine.

”Mi Colección MMV” is one of the winery’s latest creations and it emerges as a singular homage laden with emotion. Prepared with the Garnacha and Tempranillo varieties, from the 2005 harvest, it has rested in French oak for 24 months, resulting in a top quality wine, with deep-red tones and light ruby red reflections. In a still glass, it presents aromas of ripe fruit, liquorice and balsamic tones. In the mouth, it is silky and very intense.

Together with the classical line of red wines, the winery has diversified its activity towards organic vine-growing and in 2007 it presented its first wine under this certification.

The environmental resources of the area provide a source of possibilities. After a decade exclusively producing wines, Bodegas Tempore decided to extend their product catalogue, incorporating Oleum Terrae, its first organic Extra Virgin oil, produced entirely with Arbequina variety olives, and which has, in its short life, been positively appraised by the most demanding markets, such as Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

Wine and artistic expressions can be combined, resulting in such special products as Trazos de Tinta. Wine produced with grapes from old Garnacha vines, with artistic expressions, and based on the union between Goya-Fuentedetodos Foundation and Bodegas Tempore.

Tempore engages a great deal in exterior outreach and is present at the most important national and international fairs in the world such as  Alimentaria; PROWEIN, Germany; LONDON WINE, United Kingdom; VINEWPO HONG KONG, China; SPANISH WINE DAY, Belgium; WINE&SPIRITS, USA, etc.
