Ecolecera began its activity in 2002 to sell its organic harvest, which its partners had been growing since 1996. The distribution and wholesale of lentils was the first of the company’s operations.  This was followed by the canning of pulses and their distribution in large stores, as well as the manufacture of organic pasta.

This organic product was favourably received in the markets from the onset and this has led to a progressive increase in production each year.

Rice, pulses, pasta, canned produce, etc., all of which have a stamp of guarantee that identifies them as organic produce, certifying that they have been produced by means of an optimal use of renewable resources and without the use of chemical substances or genetically modified organisms that might leave harmful residues for health and for the environment.

Top quality nutritional and organoleptic foodstuff, with no traces of egg or milk, which can easily be found in specialised shops and large stores all over Spain.

Ecolecera is also present in markets abroad, such as in France and Germany, and has carried intensive promotion work at the most important international food fairs such as Bio Fast, Alimentaria or Bioculture, among many others.

Research into interesting projects, such as the manufacture of gluten-free pasta or the launch onto the market of new organic products such as young red wine made with Tempranillo variety, which they launched in 2011, show the concern of this small enterprise for defending agrofood production based on respect for the environment and for the end consumer.
