Foz de Zafrané

A spectacular, two-kilometre long, gorge, near La Puebla de Alborton. Here, the enormous mother cave stands out, situated under a marble quarry that is still in use. The impressive pillar of the old Zaragoza-Utrillas railroad also surprises visitors, which is still standing despite having been dynamited. Different species of prey inhabit the gorge, the most outstanding being the eagle owl. The short trail that connects La Puebla de Alborton and Fuendetodos runs through this gorge.
