ASUNCION PARISH CHURCH

In Baroque style and reconstructed after the Civil War, due to the considerable damage it suffered, it was opened to worship in 1960. Its origins date back to the 18th century and in 1728 it became a parish church, replacing the mediaeval temple of Nuestra Señora de los Villares, which is very deteriorated today. The current Neo-Mudejar style church is characterised by its considerable size. A curiosity it preserves is the font where Francisco de Goya was baptised.

Open for worship.
