OUR LADY DE LA PIEDAD PARISH CHURCH

Nuestra Señora de la Piedad parish church of Plenas. Renaissance in style, although it has traditional Gothic elements, its construction began in 1566. With three naves, the central one is the largest and it is also the one that preserves the choir at the foot and the polygonal chancel. The tower is at the foot and the main elements are built in rubblework with ashlar stone, and the upper bodies in brick. Noteworthy are its height and volume. It is comprised of four bodies, the last three being built in the 18th century.
