Moyuela jurassic

Jurassic materials appear in different spots of this location, such as the “Espeñador” or on the way out of the village towards Moneva. We can contemplate the folded strata of limestone rock, walking along the Moyuela River and anyone in search of fossils will discover the great wealth in this area. Marine fossils can easily be found, such as groups of ammonites, belemnites, echinoidea, brachiopods or bivalve molluscs. A return to the past that enables us to observe the important tectonic movement that took place 200 million years ago and to find remains of living beings that inhabited the old sea beds.
