Moneva volcano or fold

Popularly known in Moneva as “the volcano” or “the esparto cooker”, due to its spectacular morphology, it is the result of millions and millions of years of erosion and its effects on an incursive mass of gypsum, which has emerged through the strata that covered it. There is a short 300-metre path that departs from the entrance to the village, next to the river, ascending to the summit where there is a viewpoint with an explanatory board.
