"Huerva river and las Planas" special bird protection zone
Located between the Huerva and Martin rivers and covering an area of 14,380 hectares, there are a series of gullies, mounds, valleys and cutoffs, which have both botanical and wildlife attraction. Noteworthy, too is the population of birds of prey associated with the wood masses, where the Aleppo Pine and scrubland (savine, juniper, Kermes oak…) prevail.
